Silhouet Collage Part II

Silhouette Collage Part II: Background

Materials: Regular drawing pencil, eraser, color pencils, and Acrylic Medium (Modge Podge)

*You should have already outlined your silhouette*

Directions:

1. LIGHTLY with your pencil draw lines that create sections in the background of your paper. Make sure that those lines go all the way to the border.
2. You can draw shapes or lines in the background but make sure that you are making lots of different sections that touch the border of your project. DO NOT SHARPIE THESE LINES

It will look kind of like a mosaic.

3. Using different color pencils fill each section with dramatic value. This means that each section should have all levels of value from 1 to 5.
4. Concentrate on filling the whole section, with neat and even pencil strokes.
5. Create a layer of Acrylic Medium (Modge Podge) over your silhouette, making sure that you don't go past the black outline or into the border.
6. Let dry! Done!

Fill out the evaluation form and turn in!
